A2 hosts failed Windows servers for 4 days.
Our websites were down from Tuesday, April 23, 2019 to Saturday, April 27, 2019. All of their Windows server farm was disassembled. Two months of SQL Server data was lost. The loss is permanent for us unfortunately. Has anyone here suffered the same loss? What are you doing to cope?
I must say that I am quite satisfied with their service, with the exception of downtime. The speed of their servers is excellent, the technical support is quite responsive and the prices are reasonable. Despite this disaster, I still have a few websites with them, although I have moved the principal to another hosting service with a much longer availability. Nobody can guarantee a 100% availability, but the recovery time of A2 can be difficult to accept. During the first year of use of their service, I experienced several episodes of unavailability of several hours each.
4 days off is not acceptable. I think that they do not manage their servers properly and / or the server hardware is weak. I asked them some important questions before. But I could not get an answer. I could not trust them yet.
