accessibility – Visibility / accessibility of text on public information screens

I am in the process of developing with our supplier the upgrade of the technology at the origin of our flight information display system for our airport. The flight information screens of the terminal display information on departures and arrivals. This gives the opportunity to give a boost to the information screens. Right now, it looks a bit like this.

I am looking for ideas / best practices on updating colors and fonts for information screens to give it a nice appearance and easy readability remotely.

Most of the other airports I've visited recently tend to have a black background with a combination of white / yellow text like this. Ideally, I do not want to use a carbon copy, but is it one of the best fonts / color combinations for readability, etc.?
