apache2 – Using Apache SSL Certificates When Accessed Through Nginx Reverse Proxy

I've been using an Apache web server for a long time on my machine, serving various sites via https. Recently, I had to install a Nginx server on the same server and configure it to reverse most requests to the Apache web server via port 8080. I can access the sites hosted on the Apache server, but the SSL certificate used remains the same. a Nginx server partner, not the one mentioned in the Apache .conf files. How can I ask Nginx to postpone the application of Apache's preconfigured SSL protocol when it transmits a request?
