I am building a simple REST-Api with Nodejs + typescript and express framework. I am following the classic 3-layer architecture pattern with controller/service/respository.
I now do not need a repository in the third layer, but a class that does http requests to another 3rd party rest api.
I am having problems with naming this api-request class and the folder its placed in. Are there any best practices or commonly used names for this? Currently I have placed it in a folder called
api and the class itself called like
