Dear users of the forum, I would like to introduce to your attention an interesting way to gain advertising in Android apps.
Why is it profitable to do this?
→ AdMob is an American company specializing in mobile advertising. In November 2009, Google bought AdMob for $ 750 million. They saw a big perspective in this advertising format.
→ In 2014, Android occupied 85% of the global smartphone market.
→ Every day, hundreds of thousands of people buy new mobile phones with the Android operating system
→ The best Google Play apps have brought together millions of installations from different countries around the world
As you can see, mobile is a very promising niche. And if you still do not win that, then you should register here
The first thing to do is to register. I think that should not be a problem for anyone. The inscription is quite typical. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start working.
First, when we access your profile account, we must specify the payment details, which will be used to make the payments. To do this, click on the icon in the upper right corner and go to "Profile".
We can see two tabs: "Personal informations" and "Payment Info":
► Our referral link
► Ads presets
► Default interface theme
► Wire | WMZ | Paxum | Paypal | EPESE | OKPay | Qiwi | Bitcoin | Yandex.Money | Skrill | Other |
Choose what suits you best and click "Save"
Now let's see how to work with the system. We will learn why we are going to get money and discuss some other aspects.
Our work can be divided into two parts:
► Integration of an ad unit (SDK) in an Android application
► Distribution of applications with a block of ads via various sources of mobile traffic.
Now, in more detail and in human language. In order to make money on advertising in Android apps, we need to integrate ads into these apps. And then distribute them. Users who download our games and apps will see ads. We will be paid for these ads.
So let's start. On the left side of the site interface, you will see the following sections:
Let's review the functions that they fulfill.
Statistics – daily statistics on our income, opening in which we see the following sub-items:
► Statistics – a section with 7 subsections giving us the following information:
→ Total – your daily overall statistics
→ CPM / GEO – "Your Traffic Map" (The map on which you can see information about the geographic locations of your users who have downloaded your applications.) Specifically, you can see the number of installations in a given country, as well than the approximate prices for each country. for you for 1000 ad impressions (hereinafter referred to as CPM).
→ APPS / GEO – we will see daily statistics for each individual application available:
● Name of the application (App) ● Installations ● Number of new users ● Total number of active users (Active) ● Number of ads displayed (Impressions)
→ Secondary IDs – this section allows you to monitor the effectiveness of different traffic channels if you use direct download links, which are generated automatically for each of your applications after wrapping them. This tool is mainly useful for media buyers.
→ NET 30 – this part is relevant to the previous wrapper, which is already obsolete.
→ Smartlink – this part is dedicated to a Smartlink advertising format, which is not connected to the SDK and you have most probably won"do not use them.
► NET0 wrapper – ads integration in APK file (SDK integration)
► Mass Wrapper NET0 – mass integration (archives up to 1 GB)
► Smartlink – a section to create smart links
► FAQ – answers to the most common questions
1. How to add ads to an Android application or game?
Integrate the SDK (advertising module) in the game or the application, we must first download an application. To do this, all resources are useful, but it is better to get unmodified apps from Google Play (you can download apps from this location via www.apkpure.com), because modified apps might not not work properly once our built-in SDK. However, modified apps and games (for example, paid apps that are made free) will be more popular and more useful to users, and most likely, our ads will work as well. Just check at least some of them manually if they work properly.
After downloading the game for Android with the .APK extension, we should go to – NET0 wrapper section and select "Wrap it" tongue. The wrapper looks like this:
Let's start adding ads.
1. The first element is Name. Name the app as you see fit, it's only for internal use.
2. Then click on "Add File" and select the application you have downloaded.
3. Click "Download" and go to the packaging options.
→ Select a preset – create templates for packaging options.
→ First advertising deadline – a setting that sets the delay before the first announcement on the device. Depending on the traffic source in which your app will be distributed (from forums and social networks on mobile themes to third-party app stores and Google Play). We recommend setting this parameter in a range from 6 hours to 1 day. However, it depends on how fast your users will uninstall your applications after installation.
Then choose what you think is good:
→ Do not show ads for Google Play installs – check this box if you want to publish the app on the Google Play Store, but you do not"do not want to risk your app and monetize your app's installs from Google Play aggregators (for example, apkpure.com, what we've already mentioned)
→ Show ads in the integrated application ONLY – Display ads ONLY in the integrated application.
→ Show ads outside the built-in app – Here we put a checkmark if we want the advertisement to be displayed outside of the game or the application we have encapsulated (this option is set by default).
→ Hide the application icon – Check this option if you want an application icon to be hidden. Also, you should set a timer after what time after installation, the icon will be hidden.
And the last parameter is Frequency of ads (Frequency of displayed advertisements):
→ Low <10 impressions per day for a user.
→ Way – 10-15 impressions per day for a user.
→ high – more than 15 impressions per day for a user.
→ Extreme – more than 20 impressions per day for a user.
The options below will probably not be used. They are intended for more advanced users primarily using Google Play.
After adjusting all the options, click on the green button "To build" at the top (pending the addition of advertising, we can start to wrap another application).
Or you can use Mass envelope if you have a lot of applications. However, you will have an app ID for each app pack.
After the integration, the application will appear here: ► NET0 wrapper " applications
You can now download a modified application to your computer and start distributing through a variety of traffic sources.
The first stage of our work is over.
Now we know how to add advertising to games | applications | live wallpaper | themes and any other .APK file.
Let's go to the second step.
2. Distribution of applications with a block of ads
It is logical to assume that, to make money on advertising in Android apps, it is necessary that our apps be installed on as many mobile devices as possible. How to achieve it? The answer is obvious: to distribute them in all possible ways.
If you are an Android developer, you are very lucky. It's no secret that Google Play and Amazon Appstore are some of the most popular Android markets. You have a direct route there.
But what about those who do not have their own apps? There are several answers:
►Buy the application. It may not be as expensive as you think. Any Android freelancer can create a simple app for you for a few dollars.
► Make the application the simplest: a book, a directory, a manual, a guide, a skin, a mod, etc. (or complex – depends on your desires and abilities).
You can use different manuals for Android development, or use a simple method and create your application in a special way. the builders of the applications, which are also abundant (paid and free).
Here is just one few of them.
Or the third method is to use publicly available applications and distribute them to:
► Alternative mobile apps stores
► Forums and sites – Game Review / Android Application
► Mobile social networks
► File Sharing
► Social networks
► On own resources
► On third-party resources
The possibilities are really limitless!
You can start with this list of markets, where you can distribute your games and applications.
But really, there are many more.
All you need to do is search Google for the best sources for you and your apps.
You may want to start with the most common ones such as Aptoide.com, 4shared.com, GetJar and UPtoDOWN.
I advise you to find as many stores as possible and fill them with games and apps. So you will get a lot of traffic. And money.
3. Statistics and revenues
After doing the work, we certainly want to know what we will get from it, right? To do this, access your account in the tab "Statistics" – section "Total"
Statistics are updated hourly and it looks like this:
Installed – the number of installations during the day.
New users – how many new users generated the first impression
active – how many global active users you currently have.
impressions – how many ad impressions were generated by your users.
CPM (cost per thousand) – your turnover for 1000 impressions (its value depends on the country – traffic in the CIS and Asia is generally cheaper than in Europe)
Earnings – the dollar amount we earned that day.
It is calculated as follows:
Impressions x CPM / 1000 = Earnings
I could write a lot more, but the case was already too big.
By the way, payments arrive in the first few days of each month for the previous month, which is called NET0. However, bi-weekly or even weekly payments are also negotiable, if you have the volumes.
