command line – Google Chrome. Difference between ‘–profile-directory’ and ‘–user-data-dir’

Actually, I have two questions.

What’s the difference between chrome.exe --profile-directory="ProfileCreatedViaCLI" and chrome.exe --user-data-dir="ProfileCreatedViaCLI" command line arguments:

Q1. When I run Chrome for the first time, with these arguments. Well, let’s say, right after installing Windows and Chrome.

Q2. The next time(s) I run Chrome with these arguments.
