I need advice …
I have recently started working in a financial world.
It looks like the database architect is using the automatic build function to create stored procedures.
In the end, we have too many lawsuits that are almost 100% the same.
Let's say we have a table with a flag. It creates 3 different processes to extract the data depends on this indicator – all, 0 or 1.
When I change or repair something, I have to change several processes for that reason.
I think we just need to add a few parameters and just 1 proc. I can understand that this is a personal preference, but from the point of view of maintenance, is it really good?
