Definitions of bounce rate and pogo sticking

Rebound rate:- The bounce rate is the number of visitors that a site receives only to allow it to leave the site after viewing a single page. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave or "bounce" instead of continuing to view other pages of the same site.

Pantyhose Pogo: – Pogo-pasting is defined as going back and forth from a search engine results page (SERP) to an individual search results destination site. This means that when the researcher clicks on a link in a SERP, realizes that it is not what he is looking for, quit immediately by pressing the Back button. Google does not like pogo-sticking at all. The reason is obvious: when users visit your page several times, but do not stay there to read what you have written, it becomes obvious that the page does not really satisfy users.
