I am working on a fairly simple power request project and I have run into a retarder. I have a table with a list of customer purchases with customer ID and date of purchase. On the second table, I have a list of all clients.
I want to merge these two tables to create a new table listing all the customers with their FIRST purchase date. At the present time, the resulting table retrieves all purchases and only duplicates customer information for each purchase record. I am in no way an expert in SQL. I therefore hope that there is a way without code to ask Power Query to only grab the oldest match for each record and not all matches.
Thank you everyone!
