French Visa refused – Travel Stack Exchange

In the last 2 years, I have obtained 10 Schengen visas from Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland and France (in December 2018).

In February 2019, I applied for a French visa in the United States and my application was refused for the following reason: "not convinced of your intention to return" to the United States.

The documents and purpose of the trip were the same in December 2018 and February 2019, no difference. The first visa was approved and I went to France and I returned after 7 days.

The second visa has been refused!

  1. Someone experienced the same situation?
  2. What was the solution?
  3. Should I reapply?
  4. Ask for another Schengen visa (not France)?
  5. Appeal the decision?
