google analytics – Does source/medium/campaign for a visitor remain as it was on the first visit?

If a visitor comes to my website for their first time from source A, but fires an event resulting in a goal conversion a couple days later having this time come from source B, which source will be saved for the conversion (assuming they use the same browser and haven’t removed relevant cookies)?

i.e. when I filter conversions by source, which one would I find the conversion under?

If it makes any difference, the visitor’s first visit will have been via a UTM-tagged URL.
