I'm sure my problem is simple enough to solve, but I've been for a while and I may need help.
I have a huge array, but the problem boils down to this: some elements have two versions (a normal and an upgrade), and I'd like to be able to only display the best version of an element (upgrade if it exists, otherwise normal).
Name | The value | Type Tool a | 50 | Tool has Tool has [U] | 75 | Tool has Tool B | 100 | Tool b Tool C | 200 | Tool c Tool b [U] | 150 | Tool b
And I would like to have
Name | The value | Type Tool has [U] | 75 | Tool has Tool C | 200 | Tool c Tool b [U] | 150 | Tool b
NOTE: There can only be one upgrade and the basic version of "the tool" still exists if it helps you.
I can easily select the best value for tools A, B or C, but the problem lies in the selection of the name (and other properties).
I've tried something like
SELECT A, MAX (B), C GROUP BY Cbut it sends me errors.
