I'm not really a hardcore downloader who badly needed this speed, I just wanted to use it to see if such a fascinating speed was possible.
In my opinion, HostDzire offered the best technical features with 2 powerful Intel Octo-Core Xeon E5 processors and especially with SSDs, because a 10Gbps port would not really work better with normal hard drives.
Whatever the case may be, the prices were very high because of these high specifications and I could not go there. Until recently, they offered a 50% flat rate rebate on all their 10Gbps RDP plans. I've therefore bought a 100GB slot at half price.
This is my second session with HostDzire because I was totally in other projects / projects in the last six months and I did not need an RDP. The support is excellent and useful, as before and the delivery was very fast. It was a smooth transaction overall.
At first, I was really skeptical that the maximum number of people on a server is 20. Sometimes they accumulate resources, but the support was excellent and even offered to pay back my money if something went wrong not or was not satisfactory.
So finally, I had a place and here are some tests that I have done. It's pretty impressive until now.
I'm posting screenshots here for more details.
1. DOWNLOADING TEST FILES TO CHECK THE 10 Gbps NODE
2. 10 GB RAR (about 50 seconds)
3. 10 GB Unrar (about 25 seconds)
4. DOWNLOAD POPULAR FILEHOSTS
(* You can see the speed variation – Rapidgator vs. other hosts.) There is a huge difference since other hosts do not really accept a 10 Gbps download. It is also possible that the download speed VIP / Premium accounts are superior.)
5. DOWNLOADING A SINGLE FILE FROM RAPIDGATOR
(* Downloading multiple files will obviously multiply the speed. You can easily download 6 to 8 files simultaneously. All will be downloaded in 10-15 seconds.
** Can not download from other hosts because I do not have a premium account elsewhere.
It was useless to add a single torrent because it is completed in 10 seconds and even without reaching the top speed. So I did 2 tests – one with several relatively small size torrents of about 1 GB or less and another with torrents bigger than about 4 GB in size.
On the one hand, I did not find the ideal way to test the 10Gbps node, because other file hosts or the speed test network do not support this speed.
I think the best way to test a 10 Gbps server is to use another similar server, but this has not been possible.
This is one of my inaccurate attempts with speedtest.net – Speedtest.net by Ookla – My results
And it was a horrible result probably because the host server on the other side was not fast enough.
Simultaneous downloading of multiple test files can prove that this speed test is wrong.
I did not know what else to test. Mine is a non-encoding slot so I have not tested anything on the encoding.
Overall, I really like the server, especially after reducing the price by the reduction.
If you can suggest another test, do not hesitate to post here.
Also, if you need to test any other filehost speed on my RDP, you can contact me.
