Hosting an online radio station

There is a small radio station that I listen to in the Midwest. They are in a subway of less than 40,000 people. They have both a land station and an online station, which allows me to listen while being out of state.

For the part of the online streaming radio station, if you were to guess, how much muscle do you think it takes to feed their stream online?

I do not know how many listeners they would have online, but it 's not like it' s been from a big iHeart radio station in a megacity, so I did not think it would be too much.

In a way, a vague question, but I hope that you, "experts", can help to give an "order of magnitude" to this question …

Thank you.
