Is there a way to pass the password more securely while scheduling backups in MySQL?

I run the batch file like this:

mysqldump.exe --user=uuu --password=pswd --host=localhost --port=3306 --result-file="c:mydatabackupsdb_backup.%date:~0,2%-%date:~3,2%-%date:~6,4%_%time:~0,2%.%time:~3,2%.%time:~6,2%.sql" --default-character-set=utf8 --single-transaction=TRUE --databases "mydb"

in Windows Task Scheduler, but I don’t like the fact that I pass the mysql user’s password like this. Is there a way to keep the password but pass it more securely?
