While putting the finishing touches and preparing my site for the market, I would like to share with you my experience and my recommendations regarding the choice of a niche for these sites.
How to find a good niche for the AliExpress store?
1. Popularity and trend.
In choosing a niche for your direct shipping website, you need to focus only on products that are always in demand and whose trend is positive or at least stable.
Go to google.ru/trends to get a better idea of the selected niche. For example, we will build a store that will sell 'Harry Potter' products to Harry Potter fans.
We can observe a slight decrease since 2004, but the overall situation is good, there is no dramatic drop and the trend is rather stable. The niche Harry Potter seems so interesting for a site of direct delivery.
Below, you see the niche ("Nokia") that is not worth trying:
It is impossible to find a popular niche with a good trend without competition of course. Before launching your Drop Shipping store, we strongly recommend that you search for similar web stores on the Internet. If you find many sites offering the same products (especially at attractive prices), you should probably think of another niche and products, which are usually harder to find. Obviously, there is no point in creating another usual store of "shoes", "car parts", "gardening". It's better to take a narrow niche and try to be creative.
3. AliExpress stock.
Before you start creating your online store, make sure there are enough categories and products in the niche. Go to AliExpress.com and enter the necessary keywords in the search bar. In my case with "Harry Potter", everything is fine.
As a rule, AliExpress offers very competitive prices (often unbeatable) for many products. However, I would still recommend doing a little research on the prices of the products you are going to sell on your site. Ideally, AliExpress prices should be two times lower than those of your competitors.
You must choose at least 5-10 products in the selected niche and find the best prices for these items on AliExpress. Then go to search.aol.com, enter the shopping section and look for the same products to compare their prices with those of AliExpress.

I found this Harry Potter scarf on AliExpress for $ 9.05 / piece.
Then I went to search.aol.com and found the same item sold by other sellers.
As you can see, prices are much higher. In my opinion, this is a good item that deserves to be added to my store.
