Navigation rules for the lower tab bar

I am working on a mobile application with a lower navigation bar.
There are 3 tabs:

  • payments
  • Home
  • settings

When I'm on the home section, I have a menu, where I can go further, in this section:

  • payments
  • Home -> Screen A -> Screen B
  • settings

On screen B there is a button make a payment which should open a Make a payment page.

This payment page is also accessible from payments tongue:

  • Payments -> Make a payment
  • Home
  • settings

So, there are two approaches:

Open Make a payment inside Home tongue:

  • payments
  • Home -> Screen A -> Screen B -> Make a Payment
  • settings

    Open Make a payment inside payments tab for example switch from tab Home at payments

  • Payments -> Make a payment

  • Home -> Screen A -> Screen B
  • settings

So, which approach is the best?
First element – keeps the navigation stack and context as well. The second is more logical from the point of view of the domain because the payment screen is under Payment tongue.

Are there guidelines / rules for such cases? What would you recommend?
