Nikon autofocus when using live view

I have not used Live View much, but I have to use a "photo booth" for a self-service event, where I use the HDMI output so that guests can see the composition of the plan and the pose.

The camera is set to the focus mode on the face and, from the on-screen display, seems to work well and displays green rectangles around the faces (which, in my opinion, means focus).

However, when you press the shutter button (on the camera or with the remote control), it takes a second for the camera to reconcentrate before taking the picture.

Is there a setting that can be changed to use only the focus currently displayed in the live view and avoid the time penalty for re-centering.
