We have a Postgres database that receives data from an external web client. We would like to measure the duration of the UPDATE, INSERT and DELETE processes on our tables.
Until now, we used the following triggers: https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Audit_trigger
However, our database has grown to such a size that these triggers are slowing down our processes too much. Now, I would like to know what kind of recommendations you have for me to measure durations. I've heard about the use of internal log files or performing other tasks, but I am now deeply involved in managing the database, as I should perhaps be # 39; be. Thank you!
