This question does not really concern role playing games, but rather a real dice launch scenario that I am looking for, with the help of experts in the field.
I am memorizing the Book of Psalms, which is divided into 150 chapters.
I am looking for an elegant and elegant way to question myself, by launching a certain number of dice (or whatever means, in fact, nothing numeric at all) to obtain a random number (also probable) from 1 to 150 .
Not being very aware of the world of dice, I start to googling, starting with "150 dice" … which would obviously do the deal at once.
I did not take long to realize that there were very few 3D shapes that were good for dice, the 120 dice being the largest (and pretty ridiculous) I found.
So it will be a combination of things. One solution that I have thought up to here would be a d30 and a d5. I would like to subtract one from the d5 and multiply that number by 30, which yields .30,60,90,120. I would then simply add the value of the d30.
I hope this example gives you an idea of what I'm trying to accomplish. I apologize in advance if I am wrong about tree and that this question does not belong. If that's the case, I'll just change my question "A character from my RPG memorizes the Book of Psalms …" 🙂
