domain registration – Whois privacy with 123 reg?

I bought a domain name with 123 reg. I have not opted for the protection of the privacy of the domain. As far as I can see, my contact details are not displayed when I do a whois search.

google – naked domain redirection problem (123 reg)

I am having a problem configuring a redirection of my bare domain "example.com" to "www.example.com". Although the site (hosted on the Google Blogger Service) will appear when I enter the www site. this is not the case when I remove it – instead, it redirects to a page containing 123 reg.

I have browsed the DNS settings and nothing seems to link the domain to 123 reg. All A records are IP addresses that Google has given me. I've also enabled web transfer to redirect example.com to www.example.com, so I do not really understand what's wrong! The 123 reg help pages have not answered this question. Any help would be appreciated.
