innodb – Attempting to restore the database from ibd files but receiving errors when importing logical disk space

Recently, a client (who did not back up his system for any reason) had a database disaster, so his production database deleted all of his files EXCEPT his ibd files. I have recovered databases using logical disk space files by deleting and importing them before, but I was unlucky and I didn’t ; have encountered errors only when I try.

All tables except a few are InnoDB and the database engine is MariaDB 10.0.13.

When I do an import for any table, I get this in return: ERROR 1034 (HY000): Incorrect key file for table

; try to repair it. Being an InnoDB table, the repair does not work.

Extensive research has shown that this is most likely a disk space error. I had a lot of space but I stopped Maria, cleaned up the temporary directory and restarted it, and then I ran into the same problem.

I pulled the entire data folder internally to work with. I replaced the missing files for the database in question and Maria started without any problems but I still cannot handle the data. Even a selection will not work without crashing.

I tried a different approach by comparing the table locations of the same table on a new database in a hex editor and then updating the old ibd file to use the new ID ; logical disk space. Maria was able to start but I get InnoDB: No B+Tree found in tablespace in the logs when the service starts.

I registered innodb_sys_tables, innodb_sys_tablespace and innodb_sys_indexes in information_schema and nothing for this database is referenced. I am reasonably certain that this is a bad thing.

Are there options to attempt data recovery or has production data been lost?

javascript – Using a JS object in HTML when attempting HTML loopback

CSS is not necessary because my main focus is the interaction between HTML, JS and external resources.

I've set up a carousel that would be edited to consume more than 100 lines. I thought I would use a JS object to hold the data, then link it to HTML and display it there.

I have a "simple" HTML file and a JS file that includes the declaration of an object filled with currently useless data.

In the HTML code, I implemented a carousel using Bootstrap. I gave two HTML examples of what should show, before trying to use JS to do the same thing.

The HTML examples worked perfectly. JS's attempts were entirely empty.

For some reasons, document.write() does not work on StackExchange at all.

I implemented this code on a website called Repl.com, the output and the code are visible here:
https://repl.it/@00ff0000red/Carousel-JS-Object-Test.
The code can be created, allowing you to modify it yourself.

connectivity – `Network or instance-specific error 'when attempting to connect to a SQL Server on a remote computer on a home network

I have two laptops (both Windows 10, 64-bit) connected to my home network through wifi. Here are details on each laptop (please ask if you need more information):

Laptop #1
2017 Microsoft SQL Server Express (64-bit)
SQL Server Management Studio v17.9.1
Engine: Named Instance (SQLEXPRESS)
Local IP: 10.0.0.5

Laptop #2
2019 Microsoft SQL Server Developer (64-bit)
SQL Server Management Studio v18.4
Engine: Unnamed/Default Instance (MSSQLSERVER)
Local IP: 10.0.0.53

I would like the # 1 laptop to be the server and the # 2 laptop the client connecting to that server. On the # 1 laptop, I made sure to:

  1. Enable TCP / IP in SQL Server Configuration Manager.
  2. In the TCP / IP properties, under IPAll, TCP Dynamic Ports = (Blank) (I erased it) and TCP Port = 1433. I entered the SQL Server services and restarted the SQL Server service.
  3. In the TCP / IP properties, under IP8, Active = Yes, Enabled = Yes, TCP Dynamic Ports = (Blank), TCP Port = 1433.
  4. Creation of an incoming Windows firewall rule for TCP port 1433 with a "Private" group.
  5. In SQL Server Management Studio of the # 1 laptop, under Server Properties > Security, Server authentication = SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode.
  6. In SQL Server Management Studio of the # 1 laptop, under Server Properties > Connections, Remote server connections = Allow remote connections to this server (ticked).
  7. I added a user to my database and allowed him to read / write in tables.

On the # 2 laptop, I tried to connect:

  1. Server name: 10.0.0.5SQLEXPRESS,1433, Authentication = SQL Server Authentication, Login = ..., Password = ...

  2. No Windows firewall rule created. In SQL Server Configuration Manager (I enabled TCP / IP and noted that IPAll::TCP Port = 1433 and IPAll::TCP Dynamic Ports = (Blank).

But I get the error:

Cannot connect to 10.0.0.5SQLEXPRESS,1433.
Additional Information:
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The wait operation timed out.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 258)

windows – Attempting to run an update command on MySQL to insert a data column takes more than 5 minutes. What can I do to solve this problem?

I have an application where it joins two tables from two different MySQL databases and, with the resulting table from this join, updates one column to another table in another database.

The data resulting from the join is not large. The result of the join is usually 25,000 rows and four columns. Although I know, even inserting a column can take a while, but it takes more than five minutes for mysql to execute an update command, which makes no sense. The worst part is that because I have some of these issues to deal with, it can take more than half an hour when it does so sequentially.

I'm using MySQL 8.0 on a Windows 10 machine and I've increased the innodb_buffer_pool_size to 1G

The length of queries varies, but a simpler one looks like this:

Update resultOutput.resultTable result,
(
    select newConfigTable.tagName, newConfigTable.desc_1st_lang as newConfigDesc1, newConfigTable.desc_2nd_lang as newConfigDesc2, oldConfigTable.desc_1st_lang as oldConfigDesc1,oldConfigTable.desc_2nd_lang as oldConfigDesc2 from
    (
    select variable_id, desc_1st_lang, desc_2nd_lang,
            fulLTagName as tagName
        from oldvarexpdb.common as common
        group by tagName
        order by tagName asc
    ) as oldConfigTable
    right join
    (
        select variable_id, desc_1st_lang, desc_2nd_lang,
            fulLTagName as tagName
        from newvarexpdb.common as common
        group by tagName
        order by tagName asc
    ) as newConfigTable
    on oldConfigTable.tagName = newConfigTable.tagName
) DescriptionTable
set result.`Description Test` = if(DescriptionTable.newConfigDesc1 =DescriptionTable.oldConfigDesc1 and DescriptionTable.newConfigDesc2 =DescriptionTable.oldConfigDesc2,'PASS','FAIL')
where result.tagName = DescriptionTable.tagName;

I can check that everything in between the update call works. Although it takes 150 seconds to display the entire table with 25,000 rows for a strange reason. This may or may not be related

installation – alien fails when attempting to install mysql-server 5.5.54

I'm trying to install mysql server 5.5.54 to recover an existing database as .frm, .myd and .myi files.

I'm working on a totally fresh ec2 instance of ubuntu 18.04

I've got rpm files for mysql-server and -client v. 5.5.54 of the mysql archive, mysql-client has been installed with alien, but the sudo-alien -i run fails with the following result:

linux – ACPI error when booting after attempting to unlock an encrypted disk

I use my own computer. It's a computer that I mount myself.

Here is the configuration:
* Processor: Intel Core i5 4430
* Motherboard: ASUS B85M-G
* OS: Ubuntu 18.04 with an encrypted hard drive

Everything works well for several months, but today I try to connect and, after entering the password to decrypt my hard drive, I received this error message.

Press Enter for the maintenance
(or press Ctrl and D to continue) :

Below, there is a shell, but of course, in the base directory, I do not see my directory (maybe because the decryption failed).

I'm afraid of losing my data. I can not access my session.

Someone knows what I can do?

Storage – S6: The folder is empty when attempting to view files on a computer, broken display

So, the display of my phone is dead recently and trying to see it on my PC is leaving me with an empty folder …
The phone is still on but only the screen is down
There are different solutions to this, I link them below:

The Galaxy S6 folder is empty on PC

There must be a way to make the phone work from my PC, right?

Would be happy if someone could help

Command line – Invisible space when attempting to delete file (but exclude all files from a list)?

I'm trying to accomplish a simple task using the excellent post here: I would like to delete all files from a folder, except those listed in a .txt file contained in the folder. The syntax works well, but for some reason, all the files are deleted – the script indicates in principle that there is no correspondence between the file names of the folder and those of the .txt file – but I see that there are some!

I thought that there might be an invisible white space after my file names that I can not see (in the folder or the .txt file). But I do not think so … Is there another solution that I do not think?
