theming – How to remove home in a breadcrumb from a specific page in easy breadcrumbs and add carets for the breadcrumbs?

I’ve been using the easy breadcrumb module in Drupal 8, I enabled the option – “Include the front page as a segment in the breadcrumb” for all pages, but there are few pages for instance /custom-page where the breadcrumb trial is (Home Custom-page) how do I remove the home from these custom pages in .theme file or any alternate settings. Also the carets(>) are not appearing between the segments, how do we customize for the breadcrumb to display the caret.

8 – Why doesn’t breadcrumb work for taxonomy terms?

I have created url patterns for the taxonomy terms in the “Article category” vacabulary.

I want the breadcrumb trail to look like this:

“Accueil”> “Blog”> “Categorie”

But I did not succeed.

Currently the taxonomy terms page only displays “Accueil” in the breadcrumb trail.

Why does this not work with the terms of taxonomy ?

However, I created a Views page for “Blog” and “Categorie”.

Here are the parameters of the URL alias patterns :

Here is the default Views for taxonomy terms in Drupal :

The term page only displays “Accueil” in the breadcrumbs. It should display “Accueil”> “Blog” > “Cat√©gorie” :

Can I manually change the breadcrumb pathway of pages using YOAST SEO?

I am looking to put Breadcrumbs on every page on my wordpress site. I am using Elememntor. There is a handy widget for YOAST SEO that allows me to place the breadcrumbs onto the page, however it always defaults to:

Home >> Page 1

I want to be able to add in additional pages to this heirarchy. I.e

Home >> Page 1 >> Page 2 >> Page 3

Is there a way to manually do this and/or a way to just have the pathway default from the Menu?

ux designer – Is it a bad practice if we position breadcrumb to the right side of page header?

Most breadcrumbs are on the left of the page because it’s simply not possible to know exactly how far it will extend to the right as the user moves through the site.

Because this layout is so common, most users will expect to be able to find the breadcrumb trail on the left of the page.

It is, of course, possible to place it anywhere you wish provided that you know you have room for it – The one caveat being that, if you are going to place it in the right side of the page, it should always extend to the right:

level 1 >
level 1 > level 2 >
level 1 > level 2 > level 3 >

and not extend left-wards:

                    level 1 >
          level 1 > level 2 >
level 1 > level 2 > level 3 >

to prevent the user from becoming confused with which link they want to click on

Sharepoint 2019 site navigation breadcrumb shows incorrect URL on application pages

I have enabled the navigation breadcrumb in the master page of my site in Sharepoint 2019. When I navigate to a library inside a sub site and verify the URL on AllItems.aspx page it shows the correct url but when I navigate to the library settings page and verify the url in the same breadcrumb it only shows the url of the parent site and does not include in the URL of the subsite and the library (incorrect URL).

This behaviour is seen on all application pages only where it shows the URL of the parent site like this
http://<parent/ top level site_url>/_layouts/15/listedit.aspx?List=%7B%7D

When we click on this link it returns an error page.

8 – How to alter an existing breadcrumb link programmatically?

I am trying to alter the ‘Home’ Breadcrumb link using

hook_system_breadcrumb_alter()

The default Breadcrumb class allows you to add New links using the

addLinks

method.

However it does not allow one to edit the links. Is there a way to edit an existing link directly?

posts – Yoast breadcrumb URL shows category instead of the page

I have setup Yoast breadcrumbs in my category pages en posts inside that category page.

Category page: home/diensten/
Post page: home/diensten/support/

When I want to navigate back from the support post and click on ‘diensten’ the link navigates to: home/category/diensten/ instead off: home/diensten/

Any idea how to fix this?

8 – Alter breadcrumb for the taxonomy term edit page

To ease the navigation in the administration theme I would like the breadcrumb of /taxonomy/term/ID/edit

To be :
Home | Administration | Structure | Taxonomy | TaxonomyName | TermName | Edit

Rather than :
Home | ID | Edit

The ID currently leads to front end view page, and there is NO way on the page to detect of WHICH taxonomy this term is part of. Can you help where I should hook?
Thanks!
