networking – TP-Link Router isolates customers

I have a TP-Link TL-WR841N router with around 8 devices connected regularly. Recently, I noticed that the router isolates the connected devices from each other even though the "Client isolation" check box is not checked.
Just to check, I turned on and off client isolation and the problem seemed to have healed. But after an hour, the devices could not ping again. What could be causing the problem?

e-commerce – Registered customers vs loyal customers?

Usually, registered customers are those who already have their information (address, payment, connection, etc.) and / or have created an account, while returning customers are simply people who have visited your site, always have a cookie intact on their system, and / or purchased anonymously from you in the past.

Usually, "registered" implies that customers have to log in at some point, unlike "returning" customers.

postgresql – Count return customers with several conditions

I have PostgreSQL 9.6.10 and a table like this:

CREATE TABLE web.orders (id integer NOT NULL, user_id integer NOT NULL, status_id integer, created_at integer);

INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (1, 1000, 1, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (2, 1001, 1, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (3, 1000, 5, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (4, 1000, 1, 1583046000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (5, 1000, 5, 1583046000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (6, 1001, 5, 1583046000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (7, 1001, 5, 1583046000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (8, 1001, 5, 1585720800);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (9, 1002, 5, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (10, 1002, 1, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (11, 1003, 1, 1577862000);
INSERT INTO web.orders(id, user_id, status_id, created_at) values (12, 1003, 5, 1577862000);

I must summarize the number of customers who have placed an order in the past month as repeat customers. status_id = 5 means good order. (Orders placed in the last month and earlier with status_id = 5.)

What I managed to do is two separate queries like these:

-- last month:
select user_id from web.orders where (created_at between extract(epoch from date_trunc('month', now()) - '1 month'::interval) and extract(epoch from  date_trunc('month', now()))) and status_id = 5;

-- even older:
select user_id from web.orders where (created_at < extract(epoch from date_trunc('month', now()) - '1 month'::interval)) and status_id = 5;

I have experimented with the IN operator and subqueries, but no luck.

The correct answer for this sample data would be "1" (user_id: 1000).

Ideas?

Comments on the possibility for customers to send e-mails from our hosting platform

Hi guys,

I hope you are all doing well in this time when we are. I have a question for some of you who are experienced in providing guest accommodation.

Our current configuration is the control panel (Plesk) with Sendgrid as a messaging relay. We have noticed that several customers use mail forwarding and that emails are counted in Sendgrid as a send, including emails which can normally be considered spam if they are sent directly. Most customers have transferred to gmail. Over time, our Sendgrid reliability has gone from 99% to 87% and is getting worse as we speak. I'm also starting to notice that emails from legitimate php software are directed to the spam folder when using sendmail.

Some questions on this subject:

– Should we continue to offer customers the option of resending mail? If yes / no, then why?
– If so, how do large hosting companies allow this and do they still have a good reputation when mail is not sent to spam?
– Is this a downside that will ruin your reputation for sending emails?

We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your comments and experience.
