I have therefore found an excellent answer to a question regarding the connection of two different worksheets with a link that would allow you to edit one or the other and the other to update it. I found an excellent page about it, but I'm not sure how to proceed. Enforce.

```
var targetID = spreadsheet-id;
var targetSheetName = & # 39; Sheet1 & # 39 ;;
function onEdit (e) {
// Get the properties of the event object
var range = e.range;
value var = e.value;
// Get the position of the cell
var row = range.getRowIndex ();
var column = range.getColumnIndex ();
exportValue (row, column, value)
}
function exportValue (row, column, value) {
var ss = SpreadsheetApp.openById (targetID);
var s = ss.getSheetByName (targetSheetName);
var target = s.getRange (row, column);
target.setValue (value);
}
```

So, to give you a glimpse of what I see here: I understand that the first two lines are placeholders for later, the onEdit function has a variable e (I'm not quite sure what that means but I'm having trouble with it now). Then, in the next two lines, you define the range and value of the area that will be updated, and I do not know how to change the range and value, for this to work.

Then, the line is the line in which it is located, column is the column in which it is located, and then the function uses the exportValue function to paste the data into the other worksheet.

So, these bits that I do not understand are the lines 6 and 7, the parts range and value, the need for e and imagine how it works permanently.

The goal is to have a master spreadsheet and then many small spreadsheets that are just a master sheet so that specific people can see only specific pages of the master spreadsheet.

Thanks in advance
