seo – Does having an extended validation SSL certificate increase your Google search ranking?

I'm helping a retailer get and install an Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificate for their online store. After doing a lot of back-and-forth in providing trade literature, I now wonder if it's worth spending the time and expense required to get one. Certification authorities, which sell EV certificates, claim that it makes your site trustworthy, however, many articles claim that users can't tell the difference and don't care. In addition, most modern browsers no longer present EV certificates to the user, making it difficult to know whether this is an EV or an EV. a standard certificate. at a glance.

Obviously, EV certificates have lost the weight they once had, but I wonder if Google's search engine has even higher it in their ranking algorithm than a standard algorithm. I suspect this is at least a small factor for small online retailers, but less, or not at all, for Amazon, eBay and other Google advertisers who have been "availed" under the buying ads on Google.

material design – Extended FAB would get in the way of a listview

Right now my Flutter app has two pages: the app’s home (image 1) and the leaderboard (image 2).
The home page has a BottomAppBar with two buttons plus an extended FAB docked to it (the one with mock button written on it), the left one does nothing, and the right one opens the leaderboard page as if it was a “child”.

I’d like to switch out the BottomAppBar with a BottomNavigationBar and make the leaderboard page the home’s “sibling”, instead of it’s “child”. That would mean having the BottomNavigationBar available on the leaderboard page too, the issue is that the extended FAB, which I would like to keep docked on the BottomNavigationBar in the leaderboard page too, would cover the lowest ‘Mock Name’.

How should I change the UI to prevent the extended FAB from covering the lowest row?

bitcoind – How to calculate the checksum of an extended public key?

Very difficult to find definitive information on this subject.

From what I can find on Google and looking at BIP32, it seems that the process for calculating a checksum for an extended key is to decode the base58 string into data, then double sha256 the data. and the first 4 bytes of the double hash. are the checksum.

I am trying to take a non xpub (vpubs, upub ypub, etc.) and convert it programmatically to xpub / tpub. Currently I am running it but the last 6 digits of the xpub are still incorrect, I guess that is the checksum?

In order to correctly calculate the checksum, should I first delete the prefix, then delete the existing checksum, then double sha256 on the deleted extended key or should I keep the new xpub prefix and then perform double sha256? Or am I completely wrong in my assumptions here?

Thanks in advance!

Covid19: US visitor visa extended by May

Has anyone received a response from USCIS regarding visa extension due to covid19? In addition, did anyone pay for biometrics? It doesn't make sense to pay for biometrics when the offices are closed.

How to import an existing extended private key to bcoin?

I'm looking for a way to import an existing extended private key, exported from Electrum, to a bcoin node. Read https://bcoin.io/api-docs/ I can't find a description to do this.

Am I missing a part or does anyone have a solution for this?

Extended stay visa due to coronavirus

It is, or will be in the near future, a common problem in most countries that visiting foreigners are virtually unable to leave even though their visa or right of residence expires. Some countries have already reacted and officially suspended visa requirements. For example in Germany, visa requirements for foreigners already present in Germany have been suspended for most practical reasons until June 30.

Other countries are of course also aware of the practical problems, but the current situation seems so exceptional and unexpected that it was not taken into account when drafting laws on immigration. Depending on the legal system, it can take a long time to change a law and formally find a solution to current problems. I cannot find any statement from the Ukrainian authorities that the visa requirements have been suspended there, but in their Corona FAQs, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry at least states that it is aware of the problem and is looking to find a solution:

Since the issue of expired documents can be a common problem during the quarantine period, the MFA has already contacted foreign governments to resolve the issue so that all concerned are not subject to sanctions or other measures punitive as a result of such expiration. The MFA will provide additional information as soon as the necessary arrangements are in place.

The declaration is taken from a section on the expiration of work permits, but with goodwill it can be read as applicable to all kinds of travel documents and permits. I would usually have recommended that you contact the local immigration police (or other immigration authorities) to find out what to do, but with my experience with the Ukrainian authorities, I doubt you will get a reply.

I am not up to date on the details of travel restrictions in Ukraine, but if it is illegal to travel between provinces at the time of writing, this will of course also apply to cyclists. Police checkpoints are even quite common in "regular period" in Ukraine and I would not expect them to be less frequent now. It is unlikely that you can cycle 500 km across Ukraine without attracting the attention of the police. However, I find current information from authorities of other countries that it is assumed possible to leave Ukraine by land, so there could be exceptions to restrictions prohibiting travel between provinces, for example for foreigners who return home. Unless you are a very keen cyclist, you will need several days for the trip and with restaurants (and hotels?) Closed, this does not seem to me to be a very good idea.

The most obvious thing to do, as the comments also suggest, is to contact the embassy of your home country in Ukraine and ask if they can suggest a way to get home. . I guess you've tried this before?

visas – Return to the United States to visit after extended stay

You do not need to wait before returning to the United States.

In order to be barred from entering the United States for a period of time, you must accumulate an illegal presence. The length of the ban varies depending on the amount of illegal attendance you have accumulated, i.e. the length of your extended stay.

There is, however, one exception: minors under the age of 18 cannot accumulate an illegal presence. Because your extended stay occurred entirely when you were under the age of 18, you will not be charged with preventing yourself from entering.

You may still need to explain the circumstances when applying for a visa or to the immigration officer. So you shouldn't say that you never exceeded the length of stay, but that you exceeded the length of your stay when you were under the age of 18 (and maybe why your parents did it) have done, if you know).

Windows 10 – external display lag on an extended laptop

When I connect an external display to my laptop and extend my desktop, the external display will have a horrible update rate, to the point where I can't watch a movie or the like because it becomes choppy.

The thing is, it only happens when I choose to expand my desk.
If I clone my desktop, the external monitor and the built-in monitor work perfectly.

I thought it might be the 4k resolution of my TV, compared to the 1080p resolution of my built-in, but if I go to super resolution and I set my built-in to 4k, the external monitor still works perfectly when It is cloned, but just as horrible when running expanded.

I have tried with 2 different TVs
I tried with 3 different HDMI cables (2 passive, 1 active)

My laptop is a Lenovo Legion y530

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
