Excel Highlight Cells Greater than

I am doing a price comparison of various items with last year and this year.
so in column F i list current price and Column I with previous price. I want to highlight the cells which has higher price compared to last year. I did the conditional formatting with greater than rule for specific row Cell value > $F3 format applies to =$I$3. I want to apply this format to entire column. like if >$F4 format applies to =$I$4 likewise up to 220. IS there any way to do that?

Highlight duplicate based on two columns

I have a spreadsheet of patient data (several thousand records) where I need a way to indicate whether there’s a duplicate patient. We know there’s a duplicate if the last name and the date of birth are the same, which are in two separate columns. Does anyone know how to use conditional formatting to highlight either the row or those cells when there’s a duplicate in two columns? This is a sample of what the data look like (fake data):

mac – How to add custom keyboard shortcut to highlight text in foxit reader on macOs?

Foxit Reader : 4.4.1
macOs Big Sur

I want to create a custom shortcut for highlighting text in foxit reader mac.

Currently what I do to highlight text is: Select the text -> Right click -> Select Highlight.

I want to set this process to Select the text -> Press cmd + H on keyboard

I think there is a 3 key shortcut already but I want it specifically to be the above shortcut. Is it possible?

sharepoint online – Manually Highlight a SharPoint List Cell

I’m wondering if there is a way to manually highlight a SharePoint list cell, without needing to use conditional formatting.

The reason for this is that there isn’t a strict rule in order to highlight a cell, it needs to be a decision made by the user. For example, if a date is ‘Fixed’ rather than ‘flexible’ they could highlight that date.

In theory I could add an extra column to highlight flexible or fixed but this would become quite messy as there are already numerous date columns and each would require the extra column.

Ideally it would just be a toggle (like in word or excel) when you enter text to have it in bold, italics etc. I don’t believe that exists though!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

conditional formatting – How do I highlight a cell based on time?

For example, I want to have a cell highlighted while an employee is on break. So for this I have an “OUT” time and an “IN” time. If the employee goes on break at 14:22 and is back at 14:37, I want 14:37 to be highlighted red until that person is due back

Highlight missing form fields one at a time or all at once?

A form has many required fields some of which have been left blank. When the user clicks the submit button, there is functionality in place to highlight the first required-but-empty field by giving it a red outline and a warning icon beside it. Is this ideal (as it doesn’t overwhelm user with warning colors and warning icons all over the form) or would it be better UX to highlight all missing fields at once?

front end – Why does NotebookApply highlight an additional character?

Here is a button that surrounds the selection in square brackets
Button("Press", NotebookApply(SelectedNotebook(), "((SelectionPlaceholder))", All)). Now type this (rather pathological) set of characters into the notebook exactly, then highlight from the b to the e, now press the button. On my system the brackets are entered correctly but the left side of the selection is one character too far to the left: it includes the a when it shouldn’t.

"abc");
def

I don’t think this is the intended behavior. Is this a bug?

Conditional formatting to highlight values that are not in valid date format

I have a Google Sheets spreadsheet with a date column. A contributor to this spreadsheet keeps entering dates in invalid format. I would like to conditionally format the cells in this column to have a red background if the text cannot be interpreted to be a valid date.

How can I do this?

css – Highlight R Reactable’s sorted headers that already have a default background header style?

From here (See Highlight sorted headers) I see how to highlight sorted headers. Is it possible to modify this method to highlight the sorted header column if there is already a background colour given to the headers?

Highlight Sorted Headers – No Default Background Shading (Works)

library(shiny)
library(reactable)

ui <- fluidPage(
  theme = "test.css",
  reactableOutput("table")
)

server <- function(input, output, session) {
  output$table <- renderReactable({
    reactable(iris,
              defaultColDef = colDef(

                # Use css to style the header of the sorted column
                headerClass = "sort-header")
    )
  })
}

shinyApp(ui, server)

Highlight Sorted Headers – With Default Background Shading (Fails)

library(shiny)
library(reactable)

ui <- fluidPage(
  theme = "test.css",
  reactableOutput("table")
)

server <- function(input, output, session) {
  output$table <- renderReactable({
    reactable(iris,
              defaultColDef = colDef(
                headerStyle = list(background = "#00FF00"),

                # Use css to style the header of the sorted column
                headerClass = "sort-header")
    )
  })
}

shinyApp(ui, server)

test.css

.sort-header(aria-sort="ascending"),
.sort-header(aria-sort="descending") {
  background: rgba(255, 0, 0, 1);
}

How to highlight a “risky” action by its icon, and make it stand out from other icons?

By icon look and its position/relation to other icons in a row, I want to give the impression of a “risky” action. For now, I added a little line, that visually separates that icon from the rest (reversible, low-impact actions). Icons of course do have tooltips, and after clicking a modal window opens, so the user has still time to cancel their decision. But I want to give more “please think twice before clicking” flavor to it or at least separate it from the rest.
