how to let maven recognize JAVA_HOME variable value?

i have installed maven and although i put the JAVA_HOME variable value, maven continues to tell me this error :

enter image description here

i added the java_home variable value like this :

enter image description here

maven defaults to Java 1.5 even though JAVA_HOME is set to JDK11

I use JDK 11 and my application has about 20 projects. Now, I want my maven to choose JAVA_HOME instead of changing the entire pom.xml file with maven-compiler-plugin or properties.
I have defined JAVA_HOME on JDK 11
Release mvn -v

But when I run MVN own install I receive an error below:

javascript – having trouble setting up java_home in Ubuntu

Hi, I'm trying to set an environment for native development, I've followed all the steps in the Getting Started Guide, I'm trying to run the project on a Genymotion emulator. When I try to start the project, an error message appears stating that I did not do it. I did not define the path java_home, I looked at a tutorial on how to do it, I think my problem is that I do not configure it correctly … it's the path of java exe files tutorials:

sudo update-alternatives –install "/ usr / bin / java" "java" "/usr/lib/java/jdk1.7.0_65/bin/java" 1
sudo update-alternatives –install "/ usr / bin / javac" "javac" "/usr/lib/java/jdk1.7.0_65/bin/javac" 1
sudo update-alternatives –install "/ usr / bin / javaws" "javaws" "/usr/lib/java/jdk1.7.0_65/bin/javaws"

the path to these files on my computer is as follows:

/usr/lib/java/jdk-12.0.2_linux-x64_bin/data/usr/lib/jvm/jdk-12.0.2/bin$

so I wonder what to change.
