ag.algebraic geometry – How to modify the X and Y lengths of a rectangle to equal a target area

Quite simply, I am trying reduce the size of a rectangle in ratio so that is has a certain area. I have a rectangle of area X * Y, I have a target area A, how would I get the multiplier M such that X * M and Y * M equals A

Obviously multiplying X and Y by the ratio between the current and target area will not work, my gut feeling is I will also need the ratio between X and Y.

Sorry for such a simple question, happy to be dup hammered or closed, also sorry for the tag, I am just a bit lost,.

Weird black rectangle in Word’s headings

I am trying to build a Word template. It was working perfectly. I saved the document and opened it on another computer and I saw this:

enter image description here

All the sections were replaced with weird black rectangle.

Ont he Define new Multilevel list I don’t see Chapitre 2 but an empty field with a small dot pixel on the top left (in the Enter formatting for number: section).

I cannot delete it or remove it. How can I fix this?

I’ve uploaded a minimal docx file in base64:

Note that doesn’t solve the problem.

Photoshop how to convert shape (rectangle) to bitmap

I am coming from old Adobe Fireworks, where converting any shape into a bitmap is as simple as selecting it and click menu Modify -> Flatten Selection, and that’s it.

Unfortunately I have found out there is nothing like that in Photoshop (well, at least nothing I would know of).

Can anyone explain to me how to do this simple task in Photoshop (Google search did not help with this at all)?

Find the largest rectangle inscribed in a region partitionable into rectangles

Given a region that is partitionable into rectangles the sides of which lie horizontally or vertically, what is an run-time efficient algorithm that finds the largest inscribed rectangle the sides of which also lie horizontally or vertically?

Looking through viewfinder I see subject in small circle instead of large rectangle

You can take the lens off and look through the viewfinder without a lens attached, if the problem still exists, then it’s the body. If not, it’s the lens. Nothing will be in focus, but you should have a full very of light without a lens attach.

Look through the front of the lens and make sure the aperture is open all the way, it’s possible it’s stuck or they didn’t put everything back together correctly. It should be open by default. If it’s stopped down even after the camera is turned on, then the lens is broken, or your contacts between the lens and the body aren’t functioning correctly.

c# – How to make an adjustable rectangle in unity 2D (width, color, clone count,) to represent sounds?

I’m making an audio-rendering game, and I’ll need to start with a simple bar spectrometer, so I need to make an adjustable rectangle, where the user can adjust:

  • width.

  • color.

  • maximum height.

…which scales down its movement relative to the audio waves.

Most importantly, I need it to move accordingly to the audio. I would guess that I would need to make a cloning system, (since I want the user to be able to adjust the amount of bars) and I also want to be able to adjust the outline thickness and the outline color of the rectangle. I’m sure I’d need to make a script that divides the audio Hz range by the amount of rectangles, so that the rectangles can follow the waves of the audio. to be extremely specific, I would also like to be able to incorporate an invert effect, making the lower Hz waves appear on the right, or a mirror effect (x or y), or a double-mirror effect (mirroring the waves across x and y.) Specifically, I’m asking how to generate these rectangles, and what scripts I should add to these rectangles.

Any help would be much appreciated.
