user expectation – Fast UX Process for a register of videogame club

me and my brother are working to a digital registry for a videogame club.
the flow identified are

  1. Flow of new client (booked registration)
  2. Flow of registered client
  3. Flow of searching client

The story is :
A new client arrives with a pre-registration (he registered on the website with personal information), the staff who admits the people, verifies the pre-registration with phisical ID and if ok, the client become member.
A registered client arrives with card, name or surname : some cards are valid for year 2019 and if member does not renew the card, he’s not anymore a member.
Registered client is checked in by staff to avoid scams or fake names due to law rules, so it is present a feature of search through the database by personal informations.

All the process of checking in / recording new client / searching the client in database must be repeated extensively more than 70 times(some nights reach 140) and the product owner says that is mandatory to not waste time because people in queue get frustated.

The product must be easy to use from staff (nerd entusiast but not too technical), quick and linear as flow as requested from product owner.
Staff will have one or two devices (I’m waiting to know if they are PC or Smartphone).

Which tips,material, courses, examples do you suggest ?

How can I speed up the UX ?
Are there any UX tips / hacks for many data entry process ? (70 – 140 in a night)

cellphones – Do I need to register my phone in Turkey if I’m using a UK SIM card?

In Turkey, people are required to register their mobile devices they brought from abroad. If a new device is not registered within 120 days, its IMEI number is blocked (official source in Turkish).

I’m a Turkish citizen living in the UK and occasionally travelling to Turkey. The official source assumes that short-stay visitors never come back after 120 days.

Do I need to register my phone even if I’m using a UK SIM card?

java – Unknown error when trying to register a Minecraft ArmorItem

The error in question is (Inferred type ‘I’ for type parameter ‘I’ is not within its bound; should extend ‘net.minecraft.item.Item’)

on the following snippet of code

// Armor Items
public static final RegistryObject<ArmorItem> RINGMAIL_HELMET = ITEMS.register("ringmail_helmet",
        new ArmorItem(DnDCraftArmorMaterial.RINGMAIL, EquipmentSlotType.HEAD, new Item.Properties().group(DnDCraft.TAB)));

I have tried many things like what I do here

public static final RegistryObject<Item> RING = ITEMS.register("ring", ItemBase::new);

by putting the ItemBase::new snippet in the last paramter.
I’ve also tried seeing what IntelliJ suggests is best in-context action but none of those approaches seemed to fix the issue.

I’m not super familiar with Java or Minecraft modding so this may just be something simple that I am missing but any help or recommendations would be nice. Thanks!

Also this is the ItemBase class, in case that helps.

package com.fire.dndcraft.items;

import com.fire.dndcraft.DnDCraft;
import net.minecraft.item.Item;
import net.minecraft.item.ItemGroup;

public class ItemBase extends Item {
    public ItemBase() {
        super(new Item.Properties().group(DnDCraft.TAB));
    }
}

forms – How to display a register within another register?

I have the following problem: there is a register (A) that has several imputs, and within this register I need to insert a sub-register (B), because for the register (A) to be completed, the user needs to inform at least one record in the sub – registration (B). It may even have more than one sub-register (B) within (A).

This occurs in a web system that we have, and the register (A) was created in a tabbed structure.

I am thinking of showing the sub-register (B) in a dialog box, however, I am concerned with the experience in mobiles.

See this wireframe to better understand:

wireframe

I forgot to mention that (B) will have some steps, and depending on what the user chooses, the steps can be changed.

tnsnames – Oracle 19c database instance doesn’t register with listener

I have just installed an oracle 19c (19.3.0.0.0 to be exact) database on a centOS 8 virtual machine. The databases instances can all be started with sqlplus on the host machine. I have set up listener.ora and tnsnames.ora based on an existing (functioning) oracle 12c, which has a very similar setup.

I did the initial installation using the .rpm from Oracle, thinking that would make things easier. It probably didn’t make things any more difficult, but it meant that the directory structure was not what I’d have expected. Still, it isn’t as though it is unusable, just located differently. Having done that, I did a basic install of the DB instances I wanted (using pretty much all default settings) with dbca.

Finally, I setup listener.ora and tnsnames.ora based on the working 12c installation. The problem is, no matter what I do, the DB instances don’t seem to be registering themselves with the listener.

The tnsnames.ora looks like this:

## initially copied from linuxoracle12 (20200617-1112)

LISTENER_TEMP =
  (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = linuxoracle19.my-company-name.com)(PORT = 1521))

    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVER = DEDICATED)
      (SERVICE_NAME = tmf.my-company-name.com)
    )
  )

LISTENER_TMFDE =
  (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = linuxoracle19.my-company-name.com)(PORT = 1521))

LISTENER_TMF =
  (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = linuxoracle19.my-company-name.com)(PORT = 1521))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

      (SERVICE_NAME = TEMP.my-company-name.com)
    )
  )

TMFDE =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = linuxoracle19.my-company-name.com)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVER = DEDICATED)
      (SERVICE_NAME = TMFDE.my-company-name.com)
    )
  )

The listener.ora looks like this:

## initially copied from linuxoracle12 (20200617-1117)

SID_LIST_LISTENER =
 (SID_LIST =
  (SID_DESC =
   (GLOBAL_DBNAME = TMF)

 )

      (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    )
  )

As an example the initTEMP.ora looks like this:

## initially generated with dbca

*.remote_login_passwordfile='EXCLUSIVE'
*.sga_target=1134m
*.undo_tablespace='UNDOTBS1'

So far so good… I thought. But regardless of what I try, I cannot get the DB instances to register with the listener. When I run lsnrctl services, I get the following:

(oracle@linuxoracle19 admin)$ lsnrctl services

In various posts and what not, I have read that status UNKNOWN, whilst not seriously bad, actually means that the service in question is not registered with the listener. This is exemplified when I try to connect using NetBeans or SQLDeveloper. In both cases I get the error:

IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

Before anybody asks, yes, I did try tnsping. When I did, I got:

Can anybody out there tell me what is going wrong? I really have no idea why the current setup doesn’t work.

boat and boat register program in C++

Create the following two classes.
1. Boat – this class contains:
i. a private instance variable name of type String which is initialised to “unknown”
ii. a private instance variable, boatClass, of type String initialised to “unknown”
iii. a private instance variable, regNum, of type int initialised to -1
iv. a method called toString that has no formal parameters and returns the boat’s name, class
and registration number, as a String, in the following format:
Boat name, Class = boatClass, Registration # = KA regNum
where the words in italics should be replaced with the values of the corresponding instance
variables.
COMP2741/COMP8741 Practical 2, Checkpoints 9-16
Flinders University Page 2 of 7 2020
2. BoatMaker – refactor the class that contains the main method created when the project was
created (possibly called Practical2) by changing its name to BoatMaker (right-click on its name
and select “Refactor->Rename” or Shift-F6). Modify the main method so that it:
i. Prints the message “Starting boat application”
ii. Defines a variable called myBoat of type Boat, initialised to a new Boat object.
iii. Prints the value of myBoat (causing the toString method to be called on the object
referred to by myBoat).
Run the project. The following output should be prod

change register user in whmcs

change register user in whmcs | Web Hosting Talk

‘);
var sidebar_align = ‘right’;
var content_container_margin = parseInt(‘350px’);
var sidebar_width = parseInt(‘330px’);
//–>

  1. change register user in whmcs

    hi

    in whmcs when user register it want alot info

    i want him only want name & phone & country and of course email & pass

    is that possible ?

  2. To my knowledge it isn’t possible to alter the registration fields without editing the actual database and files. One thing to note is that if you are selling domains, a lot of that information will be required by your domain registrar for each client.

How to register a free “myblog.wordpress.com” blog

I already have a blog – let’s call it foo.wordpress.com.

I want to create a new, separate blog, called foo-health.wordpress.com.

I went to https://wordpress.com/home/foo.wordpress.com. Clicked “Switch site”. Clicked “Add new site”. Clicked “Start Now”. I was redirected to a “Let’s get your site a domain!” page. I want to skip this step, but it doesn’t seem to be possible. Is it?
