how to remove and reinstall *all* drivers on Windows 10?

I have been having multiple blue screens recently and I am guessing it is because of me installing unwanted drivers on my computer. I have tried to look up this question on Google and what was mentioned is sysprep, but are there any other programs that can wipe all installed drivers so I can reinstall them? Thank you.

terminal – Unable to reinstall MacOS Mojave on a hardware modified, mid-2012 MacBook Pro

I decided to reinstall Mojave onto a mid-2012 MacBook Pro that I purchased second hand in June 2020 & modified some of the internals of*. I have a lot of files from previous backups of files as well as from the last time I used Windows in 2018, & it was beginning to get a bit glitchy. While I did follow the instructions on the Apple website to make a bootable USB stick with Mojave on it with Terminal, I don’t think that I formatted the USB correctly.

It also gives me an error that says “This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged and can’t be used install MacOS.”

The previous owner had installed Catalina onto it, but I’m also an artist who needs 32-bit app support. Last year, I managed to get a USB stick with Mojave on it working (I currently don’t have access to it), but I’m beginning to think that’s why I can’t reinstall Mojave.

Terminal tells me it’s on Bash version 3.2. I’ve tried internet recovery (which has never worked with this machine), & changing the date to some time not long after Mojave’s original release date.

I’m at a complete loss.

*I replaced the original, failing 750GB HDD with a 2TB SSD; replaced broken super-drive with a SATA adaptor & a 1TB SSD; increased RAM to 16GB; replaced depleted battery with fresh one. I didn’t buy them all at once.

big sur – Reinstall python 2.7.16 librairies on MacOS Big Sur 11.3

To confirm results of a colleague who has coded an interpolation with Cubicspline from scipy with python2 , I have to import CubicSpline function. I know python2 is deprecated but this is just for a validation.

But when i do a :

from scipy.interpolate import CubicSpline

I have systematically the error message :

ImportError: cannot import name CubicSpline

So, I tried to install it with pip-2.7 by doing :

curl -o

and after from the directory ~/Library/Python/2.7/bin :

./pip2.7 install scipy

but same error, CubicSpline is not found

I have the version :

$ which python2.7

So python2.7 is the default python2 of the system.

How to install CubicSpline library on the default installation of python2.7 in the OS ?

Have I got to reinstall all the python2.7 framework ? and if yes, how to perform it ?

How to reinstall Android OS?

On my Note 8 after the last software update (Jan 1, 2021) many of the apps have not been operating as they should or as they were before the update. I suspect the software has been corrupted?

How do I reinstall the Android OS?

If I re-install an encrypted version of Ubuntu on my laptop and fill my entire SSD up with a large .txt file, does this securely wipe the SSD?

This might work, but there is a much easier way to wipe your hard drive clean:

Boot the computer from a Ubuntu live bootable USB. When it prompts you with the options to ‘Run Ubuntu’ or ‘Install Ubuntu’, choose ‘Run Ubuntu’.

When Ubuntu loads, open the command prompt, then do sudo fdisk -l to find the location of the SSD in the file system (it will likely be /dev/sda). Then, use the following dd command to fill the SSD with zeroes:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=4M status=progress

(assuming your SSD is /dev/sda – otherwise, change accordingly)

hard drive – Reinstall MacOS or/vs Reformat?

My current install of Catalina has gone a bit wonky. Every other time I start it up it displays the circle with a line through it, so I do a hard restart and it will then boot into Catalina.

I’m trying to move to Big Sur and wondering if I should do a fresh install/reformat, or if i should do a Reinstall MacOS from the recovery screen.

From what I understand Reinstall MacOS just rewrites the OS files, but keeps everything else intact like document, downloads, apps, etc…?

Should I upgrade to Big Sur first? Or Reinstall Catalina, and then upgrade to Big Sur? Or just a fresh install? (Running an iMac Pro)

reinstall os
