is there way to rename default linux directories (dev, sbin, root, etc.)

Ok, strange question. I want to rename (move and rename, to be more precise) default Linux directories such as dev or sbin (e.g., to /system/devices and /administration/binary). I tried to find some settings in menuconfig of kernel’s compilation, but, at the first sight, the kernel does not have options for this. Is it possible without symlinking and other dishonest ways?

Can someone rename a .mdx dictionary file?

I found a .mdx dictionary file on the Internet which is named 德德口语字典 (in Chinese) and translates as Spoken Language dictionary of german language. The problem is that when I load it into goldendict software the name of this dictionary appears in Chinese.
Although I tried to rename the original .mdx file, it doesn’t work. I want to remane this dictionary in German or English? I don’t know anything about coding scripts or programming and so I cannot change the name myself. That’s why I’m asking for this favour. If anyone can solve this problem, please email me on kamlakhan91@yandex.com I will share the dictionary with you.
Thanks in advance

What is the easiest way to rename a plugin (and also avoid plugin updates)

I have a few customers and they absolutely want me to make changes within plugins which do NOT offer hooks etc. I checked it – only way is to modify the plugin directly.

So: I want to know what is the easiest way to rename the plugin, to achieve:

  1. avoid getting plugin updates, i.e. block them
  2. to make clear that modifications by me were done in this plugin

Just rename the folder and the header in the main file?
Or can this break anything?

Thanks!

sharepoint online – Is it possible to rename or define a new name for our office 365 domain

Currently we have our domain for example as abcde.onmicrosoft.com and then we bought abcde.com from godaggy so users emails does not have to have the onmicrosoft inside it, as follow:-

enter image description here

Now our customer is asking to change the Office 365 domain name from ABCDE to something else.. so the SharePoint site can be accessed using this url https://NEW NAME.sharepoint.com/instead of this url https://ABCDE.sharepoint.com/.. so is this possible? if renaming is not an option, then can we register the new domain New Name inside office 365 and define it as the default domain? so the SharePoint site can be accessed using this url https://NEW NAME.sharepoint.com/instead of this url https://ABCDE.sharepoint.com/?

google apps script – Duplicate and rename a sheet (only it`s data) at fixed hr and day

every monday I’ve to make a copy of a sheet which is called week_nn, where nn is a progressive number of the current week for that sheet from its beginning. At some point of the day, we have to fix those data to make a history, and so I duplicate the sheet which take the standard name of “copy_of_week_nn_WIP” to “copy_of_week_nn_FRZ”. If possible, I’d like to automathize this with a triggered script (time/day, in this case, every monday), because sometimes it happened if forgot the task and also, because it`s a stupid job…how I could possible do it?

8 – Can you rename replacement pattern tokens in views?

If you insert one or more custom text field (e.g. to include some Twig logic), latter fields will see such blocks as {{ nothing }}, {{ nothing_1 }} etc. in the replacement patterns.

Can these be renamed? The label and the admin description make no difference.

How to rename the columns when the SharePoint list is exported to Excel

I have made a code that exports a SharePoint List to Excel. The columns of the list are: “Date”, “Before”, “Between”, “After”, “Remark”.

Now in the code I would like to rename the column names “Before”, “Between” and “After” to
“00:00 – 07:59”, “08:00 – 15:59” and “16:00 – 23:59” when it gets exported to Excel.

Is that possible?

This is my code:

$SiteUrl = "xxxxxxxxxxxx"
$Global:selectProperties=@("Datum","Before","Between","After","Opmerkingen");
connect-pnponline -url $SiteUrl -Credential $cred

function ExportList($listName)
{
    try
    {
        $listItems=(Get-PnPListItem -List $listName -Fields $Global:selectProperties).FieldValues
        $outputFilePath="c:Temp" + ($listName -replace "/","-") + ".xlsx"
        $hashTable=@()
        foreach($listItem in $listItems)
        {
            $obj=New-Object PSObject
            $listItem.GetEnumerator() | Where-Object { $_.Key -in $Global:selectProperties } |
                ForEach-Object {
                    if( $_.Key -eq 'Datum' )
                    {
                        $obj | Add-Member Noteproperty $_.Key $_.Value.ToLocalTime().ToString("dd-MM-yyyy")
                    }
                    else
                    {
                        $obj | Add-Member Noteproperty $_.Key $_.Value
                    }
                }
            $hashTable+=$obj;
            $obj=$null;
        }

        $hashtable | Export-XLSX $outputFilePath -Table -Autofit -Force
     }
     catch (Exception)
     {
        $ErrorMessage = $_.Exception.Message
        Write-Host "Error: $ErrorMessage" -ForegroundColor Red
     }
}

finder – Rename File(s) from Foldername using automator/AppleScript

been through several previous Q’s some asking for the same, but nothing has seemed to fit what I want to be able to do.
Firstly, I’m pretty new to Mac and very new to automator….

What I would like to be able to do
Drag a folder with a few files in it into a “Rename” folder that….
a. Renames the files based on the folder name
b. If more than one of the same type of file exists append a numerical value OR just take the largest file for renaming
c. Move the renamed file to a new folder called “Renamed”
OR if not….
Right click a file and have an action to rename it to the folder it sits in and then move it

So I would drag a folder called “Garden” with 2 files in it (Called IMG_01.jpg and IMG_02.jpg) into a folder called Rename.
The files would get autorenamed to Garden.jpg and Garden1.jpg (Or just rename the largest file)
Move the renamed files to a folder called “Renamed”
Rinse and repeat for other folders called “Poznan” etc

Thanks in advance.
