terminal – Accidentally Uninstalled “AndroidSystem” Black Screen After Splash Image

A good friend hit uninstall on AndroidSystem icon (looks like a fan belt wrapped around a larger and a smaller circular object. AndroidSystem is the name of the icon). Since then, the tablet (a JP5s media device running jellybean) will show splash logo then go black.

Connecting to the tablet via USB in charge mode I cannot get root user. adb shell su returns nothing, but the cursor drops to next line and stays there. I have to hit control c to return to the shell prompt.

The troublesome tablet is rooted, USB debugging was enabled prior to the mistaken uninstallation. How do I get the root prompt to maybe do a factory reset by adb? The am and pm are not running.

How to make a router splash page ? or captive page?

Hi all we need a custom router landing page and to be able to cloud host the page. The page will allow for sign-in then allow our guests to continue on to the net. All low security.. Any ideas on how to do this ? 2nd can a standard home-office router accomplish this?

windows 7 – Acer Aspire no Post beep, no Bios splash screen

I have an Acer Aspire AX3400 desktop PC.

It originally came with Windows 7, But I dual booted it with Linux Mint 20.1.
After have used the computer for about a year, (It’s from 2012 I think, I got it from a friend)
I tried to boot it up one morning and there was not Post beep/Bios splash screen, Fans turned on, Hd spun, but other then that, nothing. I turned it off and waited about a minute then pressed the power button again. This time nothing went wrong. booted into Linux Mint and it seemed fine.
However, the problem kept happening (strangely when I restarted the system this problem never occurred)

I took to always restarting and never shutting down the system. (That was maybe a mistake)
Anyway, I shut down the system to boot into Windows.
After that I couldn’t get the system to boot back up.

I have tried:

Unplugging the computer and wait 30 minutes,

removing the motherboard battery and waiting 5 minutes,

resetting the bios using the bios reset jumper https://neosmart.net/wiki/reset-bios-cmos/#Method_2_Clear_the_jumper (Using method two)

I have tried every method I could think of.

Thank you for any help you provide.

feats – How exactly does Burn It! (and similar effects) affect splash and ongoing damage?

Burn It! increases your intital attack damage once (to each creature)

Burn It! provides a Status bonus to damage. Per the rules, you can only increase the damage of an attack by the highest of each typed bonus, once. Essentially, you do have bonus damage on your bomb and bonus damage on your splash, but they’re not allowed to happen together so you only apply one.

Again like checks, you may also apply circumstance, status, item, and untyped penalties to the damage roll, and again you apply only the greatest penalty of a specific type but apply all untyped penalties together.

Splash is a trait of the attack being used, so it is not it’s own damage instance and does not increase separately from the bomb damage. The status bonus can apply to everyone affected by the splash, because you are still only applying the bonus once.

It increases persistent damage less

The source of persistent damage does not matter. Persistent damage is a Condition that does not adopt traits or features from its origin. It is no longer an alchemical bomb, just persistent fire damage.

Number rounding

In Pathfinder 2e, all fractional numbers are rounded down unless otherwise stated.

You may need to calculate a fraction of a value, like halving damage. Always round down unless otherwise specified. For example, if a spell deals 7 damage and a creature takes half damage from it, that creature takes 3 damage.

Your example

  • Level 11 bomb (3d8+3 splash and 3 persistent)
  • Initial toss 3d8+5 splash (3+11*.25 = 3+ floor(2.75))
  • Persistent 4 fire

licenses – How to appropriately give attribution (CC BY 2.5) for splash image on landing page

I plan to use a splash image licensed by the CC BY 2.5 for a website’s landing page.

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the
license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any
reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor
endorses you or your use.

I wonder if it would be okay if I provide the name of the author and a link to the image’s license (stored in Wiki Commons) in smaller font size (Small but still legible) below the slogan on my landing page.

c# – Unity splash is starting in progress after white screen

When I export my Unity project (on Windows), there is a brief white screen before the Unity splash screen renders, already in progress. Discretely cutting to the already in progress splash screen looks pretty bad, so I’d like to fix this.

Here is a video showing what I mean.

After some googling, I did find other reports of a white screen, but only on Android. My project is very simple and I am not loading anything intensive on boot, so I’m not sure what is causing this white screen.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or have ideas to troubleshoot it?

ionic ios build wkwebview not start, stuck at splash screen

I build app to ios. Apple drop back the relese with UIWebview not supported. I add plugin Cordova WKWbView Engine and add this lines to config.xml

        <feature name="CDVWKWebViewEngine">
            <param name="ios-package" value="CDVWKWebViewEngine" />
        </feature>
        <preference name="CordovaWebViewEngine" value="CDVWKWebViewEngine" />

After build, start the app but stuck at splash screen.
No error, and no inspectable device.

Change Android Bootloader splash screen image

How can I change the boot loader boot image that is displayed as soon as the system is turned on? Note that I'm not talking about the logo that appears after loading the kernel (IE: after & # 39; init & # 39;). These are easy to change and there are many guides available online just by Google. What I'm trying to edit the boot loader which I think is part of the hidden raw partition (which is usually configured by & # 39; uboot.img & # 39; as far as I understand) .

Notes:

  • PX30 architecture.
  • Android 9 (pie).
  • The device is rooted.
  • No & # 39; ADB & # 39; available.
