dnd 5e – In the Telekinetic feat for Psionic Options Revisited, what if you already know the cantrip?

You get all the benefits.

The relevant section of the feat reads,

You learn the mage hand cantrip. You can cast it without verbal or somatic components, and you can make the spectral hand invisible. If you already know this spell, its range increases by 30 feet when you cast it.

Nothing here suggests a character who already knows the cantrip doesn’t get the first benefits; the extra range makes up for not gaining the benefit of learning a new cantrip.

I would expect wording with an “instead” in there if the ability was intended to be exclusive.

pathfinder 1e – Can telekinetic transport be used to drop heavy objects on targets

Yes, a Kineticist can use Telekinetic Haul to drop objects on creatures.

As usual in Pathfinder 1E, it's complicated because it involves several rules of interaction.

Let's first see how far telekinetic transport can reach, and how much can be the object transported. The maximum weight carried by Telekinetic Haul is 100 or 1000 pounds per Kineticist level.

When using basic telekinesis, you can move an object that weighs up to 100 pounds per level of physiotherapist you own. (…) If you accept 1 burn point, the maximum weight increases to 1000 pounds per level of kinesiologist you have and the duration increases to 1 minute per level of kinesiologist you own.

The maximum range is limited by the basic talent of telekinesis, which normally has a close range (25 feet + 5 feet for 2 levels of kinetician). If you have talents of extended range and extreme range, this can be increased to medium (100 feet + 10 feet per level of kinetician) or long range (400 feet + 40 feet per level of kinetician).

This ability is similar to the mage hand (…) If you have the wild talent at long range, you can increase the range of basic telekinesis at medium range and increase the movement speed to 30 feet per turn, and if you have the extreme range of wild talent, you can increase the range of basic long range telekinesis and increase the movement speed to 60 feet per turn.

According to environmental rules for falling objects, the damage inflicted by (and to) a falling object is based on the size of the object.

Table: Damage from Falling Objects
Object Size Damage
Small 2d6
Medium 3d6
Large 4d6
Huge 6d6
Gargantuan 8d6
Colossal 10d6

The material of the object and the falling distance (up to 150 feet) also affect the damage inflicted. Additionally, intentionally dropping an object onto a creature requires a ranged tactile attack. If the Kineticist succeeds on this attack roll, the target can obtain a Reflex save to further reduce the damage.

Items made of lighter material can inflict as little as half of the damage listed, subject to GM discretion. For example, a huge rock hitting a character inflicts 6d6 points of damage, while a huge wooden wagon can only inflict 3d6 points of damage. In addition, if an object falls within 30 feet, it does half of the damage listed. If an object falls more than 150 feet, it inflicts double the damage indicated. Note that a falling object takes the same damage it inflicts.

Dropping an object at a creature requires a ranged tactile attack. Such attacks generally have a range increment of 20 feet. If an object falls on a creature (instead of being thrown), that creature can make a DC 15 Reflex throw to halve the damage if it is aware of the object. Falling objects that are part of a trap use the trap rules instead of these general guidelines.

pathfinder 1st – The talent of the ethereal utility of the kinetician: the dual telekinetic control is it a multiple attack?

Does the talent of the ethereal utility of the kineticist: remote control by telekinesis is a multiple attack?

Dual Telekinetic Control

Elements) ether; Level: 1; Type: utility (Su); Burn

Preconditions): telekinetic explosion

You can use your telekinetic breath with two objects simultaneously. This has no effect on blast damage, and their combined weight can not exceed the normal weight limit for a telekinetic explosion. The objects must remain in the same space to each other throughout the duration of the explosion and, if they are launched, must be launched on the same target.

And

Telekinetic explosion

Elements) ether; Type: single breath (Sp); Level: -; Burn 0
Breath type: physical; Pity: bludgeoning, drilling or notching

You cast an unattended object nearby on a single enemy in the form of a ranged attack. The item should not weigh more than 5 pounds per level of kineticist you own. If the attack hits, the target and object thrown each take damage from the explosion. Since the object is wrapped in ether strands, even if you use this power on a magic weapon or some other unusual object, the attack does not use any of the bonuses or effects of the magic weapon; it's just about your blast damage. Alternatively, you can loosen the ether strands in order to inflict damage to both the object and the target, as if you had launched it yourself (instead of Inflict your normal explosion damage).

You substitute your constitution modifier for your force modifier if the launch of the object would have added your force modifier to the damage roll, and you do not take the penalty of -4 on the attack roll for throwing an object that was not designed to be launched. . In this case, the special effects of the object apply (including the effects of its materials), and if the object is a weapon, you must be competent with it and be able to handle it with one hand; otherwise, the item deals damage as a one-hand improvised weapon for a creature of your size.

If that's the case ….

1) Does this mean a single attack or separate jet for both projectiles?

2) Do both projectiles deal damage to the target or the first attack that hits?

3) Can it be used in tandem with Foe Throw Infusion?

Throwing the enemy

Elements) ether; Type: infusion; Level: 3; Burn 2
Associated Explosions: telekinetic

Backup Jet: Courage denies; see the text

Your telekinetic breath can cast a large creature or smaller creature in place of an unattended object. you can increase the burn cost by 1 to affect a larger creature. If the creature you are trying to cast succeeds while saving Fortitude, it completely cancels the explosion.

Otherwise, if your blast hits the target creature and target, it suffers the total amount of damage from your telekinetic explosion, and the projected creature drops into the last unoccupied space along its path. If your blast is missing, the projected creature may choose to occupy any space within 10 yards of the target, it will not fall on fire and its half will suffer half the normal damage. The movement does not cause any attacks of opportunity.

pathfinder 1st – Does the telekinetic explosion of a kinetician literally mean to manually launch a physical object?

Does the telekinetic explosion of a kinetician literally mean manually launching a physical object?

Telekinetic explosion

Element (s) ether; Type simple explosion (Sp); Level -; Burn 0
Breath type: physical; Bleeding, perforating or nicked damage

I've always thought that it worked a lot like the Telekinesis spell using the Push Thrust option. This also has a weight limit of 5 pounds per level. Does this not mean that you need X Str to be able to lift bigger objects?

Also, how does this affect the Physical and Energy Explosion option of this capability?
How can you do a remote touch attack with a physically launched object?

Violent thrust:
Alternatively, the energy of the spell can be spent in one turn. You can cast an item or creature by a maximum of 15 spellcasting levels within range and within 10 feet of each other to any target within 10 feet per level of all items. You can cast up to a total weight of 25 pounds per pitcher level (maximum 375 pounds at the 15th level).

Thief – Can the Telekinetic Projectile spell be used with Sneak Attack?

No

The description of Sneak Attack lists the requirements to take effect as a

If you hit a creature that has the footing condition (page 620)
with an agile melee weapon or finesse, an agile or finesse without weapons
attack, or remotely armed attack

And the Telekenetic Projectile spell requires you to

Make a ranged attack against the target

This is not a range armed attack as required by Sneak Attack. Plus, it's not a spell attack like Magical Trickster asks

When you succeed in a spell attack, cast an AC against a flat-footed enemy.
and the spell deals damage

and so will not even benefit from Sneak Attack if you have this feat.

However

From the General Rules section on page 446

The attack jets take various forms and are often very variable
depending on the weapon you are using for the attack, but there are three
main types: melee attack rolls, ranged attack rolls, and spell attacks
rollers

Which seems to indicate that you can not really have an untyped "remote attack" stream. It is therefore logical to assume that the reference to "ranged attack" in the Telekenetic Projectile entry refers to a "ranged attack" because the damage component benefits from your spell casting modifier. If this is the case (and I would decide that way as GM), then you can enjoy Sneak Attack. if you had the feat of Magical Trickster.
