wordpress.com – All content disappears after WP update, no error is reported

I have this site http://www.tnfventures.com/ and have updated the theme, the database and the WP plugins. After the update, all messages disappear. I looked in the Google Chrome console, but no errors were found. So I'm not sure what went wrong.

What could be the problem with my website?

wordpress.com – Home page (domain) that redirects the user to two subdomains according to the language of his choice

I want to have a domain (for example, website.com) which, once reached, determines the language in which it wishes to continue. I have planned two languages. SEO is not important to me. so what do you recommend? two subdomains? or two folders? in cPanel?
I have no programming skills, so should I install WordPress for all three sections?

Tip: Is the automated enterprise software package (wordpress.com) superior

Hello, would like to ask advice here, because this forum provides more precise answers:

Many wordpress / woocommerce owners generally do not require deep access to their servers. The automated wordpress.com business plan allows unlimited bandwidth and storage at a lower price than most cloud / managed wordpress hosting providers. So my question is:

1. Why should we opt for self-hosted solutions? The automation business package already allows customization via plugins. Their list of restricted plugins, such as cache plugins, etc. It's not really essential, they have their own solutions. What are the benefits of the extra flexibility offered by self-hosting?

(yes, their platform does not have one-click staging, but not all providers have it)

2. What is the difference between hosting automattic and other hosting providers such as wpengine, siteground, in terms of performance and security?

Thank you

wordpress.com – The automatic extract option does not work on the last message of a custom theme

enter the description of the image here

I'm using a blank HTML template for a custom theme. The extract option does not work on the active server, but on the local server, the extract works.
here is my code

html5wp_index function ($ length)
returns 60;

html5wp_custom_post function ($ length)
returns 40;

// Create custom snippet reminder
function html5wp_excerpt ($ length_callback = ', $ more_callback =' # '; & # 39;)
global $ post;
if (function_exists ($ length_callback)) {
add_filter (& # 39; excerpt_length & # 39 ;, $ length_callback);
if (function_exists ($ more_callback)) {
add_filter (& # 39; excerpt_more & # 39 ;, more_callback);
$ output = get_the_excerpt ();
$ output = apply_filters (& # 39; wptexturize & # 39 ;, $ output);
$ output = apply_filters (& # 39; convert_chars & # 39 ;, $ output);
$ output = & # 39;

& # 39 ;. $ output. & # 39;

& # 39 ;; echo $ output; }

wordpress.com – Woocommerce subscription – WordPress development stack exchange

I am building the WordPress website with the bulk registration.

On the woocommerce account page, I register the user as a wholesaler and once everyone has logged in, I manually check the details of the wholesale user, such as the license number of the retailer and the commercial license, and I approve the users that I do with some additional fields.

In my theme, I added this code

add_filter (& # 39; woocommerce_new_customer_data & # 39 ;, & gt; wc_assign_custom_role & # 39 ;, 10, 1);
function wc_assign_custom_role ($ args) {
$ args['role'] = & # 39; wholesale_customer & # 39 ;;
return $ args;

which helps me define the role for each new record.
Now my problem is:

I want to allow the user to register as a regular customer in its entirety. I do not want them to log in basically.

I am able to hide the extra fields from the checkout user registration page by using this code in my functions.php

& # 39; user_street & # 39; => array (
& # 39; like & # 39; => & # 39; text & # 39;
& # 39; Label & # 39; => __ (& # 39; Street & # 39 ;, & # 39; iconic & # 39;),
& # 39; hide_in_checkout & # 39; => true,
& # 39; sanitize & # 39; => & # 39; wc_clean & # 39;
& # 39; requiredI => true,

but how can I set the separate user role when someone signed up from the payment page?

wordpress.com – Add / blog prefix for all WordPress front-end URLs

My WordPress installed in the root directory www.example.com

I need the URL of the house and the site as below.

URL of the site. www.example.com Home_url www.example.com/blog

I need the prefix & # 39; / blog & # 39; for all sling end URLs.

Please let me know how we can achieve this?

Are there any code level changes required for this?

I've tried this and it works, I'm facing a problem with the W3 Total Cache plugin. The problem is that CSS / JS minify does not work. If the site and the URL of the house are the same, only the CSS / J files work.

Please suggest.

Import a local site on WordPress.com

There are a lot of questions on the opposite side of this question: import from server to local, but it's not the same thing, so please, do not mark it as a duplicate .

I have installed WordPress with MAMP. After editing the php and css files, I have my website.

Now I'm trying to download it on WordPress.com, so it's live. It's a test for the university, so no need to have a fantasy field, the free is enough for me.

I have tried:

  1. Import local press (.xml file)
  2. On WordPress.com, go to import and import this file
  3. It matters with success. But then nothing changes. I do not see the support or the page that I created locally.

Does anyone know about website builders (drag-and-drop), simple builders offering monthly paid options on a monthly basis?
