Two mysql selection queries in one query

user

id | first name
1 | A
2 | B

article

id | title | description
1 | wx | X Y Z
2 | yz | ABC

article_rating

article_id (article-> id) | given_by (user-> id) | donné_rating
1 2 4
2 1 3

article_sauvegardé

article_id (article-> id) | saved_by (user-> id)
1 2

I change some buttons and icons depending on whether a user has rated / saved an item or not. I use two queries chosen for this:

evaluated or not

SELECT give_rating as note
FROM article_rating
O given_par =? AND article_id =?

registered or not

SELECT Saved_by as saved
FROM Saved_article
O saved_by =? AND article_id =?

So, my question is: how can I combine both into a mysql query efficiently?
