I've seen pretty cool technical demos for WebAssembly, where small games are run in the browser. I have therefore thought of launching some simple programs to me.
Maybe I could try to hack together one of those classic RPGs from the good old days? Nothing amazing, but it could be a good way to experiment with the new platform.
Many languages already have experimental methods of compilation on WebAssembly, such as C #, Go, Rust, C ++, etc. There are even rumors that Python could be the next step.
I'm a little skeptical about the usefulness of Web development, at least because of the huge size of the current files, but for games, this could be very interesting.
