worksheet function – Excel tracking leads

I work with Realtors and I am looking for an easy way to follow the leads I get from a Realtor.

Can I have a list of real estate agents in a sheet and then a separate contact sheet with a column that, if I'm in between the name of the real estate agent, the listing sheet? Real estate agents will update automatically in the column "prospects received"?

I.E Bob Smith, Realtor, has sent me a track, Jane Doe. I'm writing Jane Doe on my track sheet and grabbing Bob Smith's name in the "References" column. In my estate agent record, I have a column next to Bob's name with "Leads Received" and 2 in this column (let's say that he referred me 2 people before Jane ). Will this column be updated to 3?

Such a thing is possible? Thanks in advance!
